Benjamin NGUYEN is Professor at INSA Centre Val de Loire since 2014. He is head of the Laboratoire d'Informatique Fondamentale d'Orléans (LIFO, EA4022) since 2016. His research interests cover Privacy & Security in Information Management Systems and Applications, in particular : Anonymization techniques, Models to represent, quantify and enforce limited data collection, Methods to enforce existing privacy models using secure hardware devices or cryptographic techniques (eg. Blockchain) and Design and implementation of large scale privacy-by-design personal information management applications (in general interdisciplinary research).

Benjamin received his Ph.D. from University of Paris Sud in 2003, under the supervision of Serge Abiteboul. He joined University of Versailles as Associate Professor in 2004 in the Data Integration and Management team, and Inria Secure and Mobile Information Systems in 2010. Benjamin was co-head of the Computer Science departement at Versailles from 2006 to 2010. He is co-head of the Privacy Working Group of the CNRS GDR Sécurité since 2016. He was member of the Executive Committee of INSA Centre Val de Loire and Head of Digital affairs from 2015 to 2019. He is member of the french committee for the recruitement of high school teachers in computer science (CAPES Informatique) since it was introduced in 2020.
